Master Sergeant Robert R. Wallace, Jr. is the Aerospace Science Iinstructor assigned to Habersham Central High School Junior Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps unit GA-20064. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on 23 March 1964 and was raised first in Irving, Texas and then Franklin Springs, Georgia, where he graduated from Franklin County High school in 1982.

Sergeant Wallace enlisted in the Air Force and attended basic training in 1982. He spent 24 years in the Air Force as an Aircraft Armament Systems Technician, working on the F-4, F-15, F-16, B-52, OV-10, OA-37 and A-10 aircraft. 9 years of his career was serving as an Aircraft Armament System Instructor in the US and 2 locations in Europe. With over 14 years spent serving overseas in his career, over three were spent in the Pacific, the remaining in Europe in Germany and Italy and time spent in SW Asia for Desert Shield/Storm. Sgt Wallace began his current AFJROTC Instructor duties for Habersham County 1 July 2006. He is the Drill and Color guard Advisor for AFJROTC,  Head Tennis Coach for Boys and Girls, and Co-Sponsors the Young Republicans Club. Sergeant Wallace is married to the former Maria Helena Lopes of Porto, Portugal; they have a son living with them in Mt. Airy, GA.
